Head coach Enzo Maresca has issued a clear warning about Atalanta’s high-intensity playing style. The Italian side is known for aggressive pressing and relentless man-marking.

“They’ll Follow You to the Toilet,” Says Maresca

In a press conference, Maresca explained Atalanta’s defensive strategy using vivid imagery.

“They play man-to-man everywhere,” he said. “If you go to the toilet, they’ll follow you.”

The coach urged his players to prepare both physically and mentally for 90 minutes of extreme pressure.

A Familiar Face on the Opposite Bench

This match brings a personal twist. Maresca will face Raffaele Palladino, Atalanta’s current coach and his long-time friend.

“Before he took over Atalanta, he visited London to study our training sessions,” Maresca told Sky Sport Italia.

“He was out for months. Now he’s back, but we need to avoid another injury,” Maresca explained.
